Access
This site is intended for the exclusive use of the homeowners in the Deep Run Overlook Homeowners Association. Homeowners must submit a registration request and receive an approval before they will be granted access to protected areas of the site. All legal homeowners within the association will be allowed access; no homeowner will be excluded on any basis. The registration process is to ensure that only homeowners are allowed access. Registration requests from non-homeowners within the association will not be approved.
All users must be 18 years of age or older.
Your user account is for your use only. You may not share your account with others, including your spouse. Spouses and partners should each register their own account and each will be approved.
Content
All content on this site is created and owned by the users of the site. Most content is protected and accessible only with an approved homeowner account. Limited amounts of nonsensitive content may be available to unregistered users. All statements, views, and opinions belong solely to the users posting them; opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of other users, the site administrators, the association, or the association’s board members.
All member data (member lists, member activity, and profile information) and all discussion forums are always protected content and will not be viewable by any non-homeowner. Photo galleries are protected; however, individual photos may be used within publicly accessible content such as the site’s Home page. No user-submitted photos will be used publicly without permission from the submitting user. News postings may be public or protected depending on the content of the posting. Messages sent and received directly between members of the site are only viewable by those members.
Permitted Use
We, as users of this site, are all neighbors. This site is intended to enhance our neighborhood and bring us together as neighbors and friends. Any use of this site to detract from our neighborhood and relationships–including but not limited to illegal or fraudulent activity, harassment of or threats against fellow users, discrimination or unreasonable foul language, etc–WILL NOT be tolerated. Appropriate action will be taken by site administrators which may include removal of the offending content, a warning to the offending user, and/or suspension of the offending user’s account on this site.
“Spam” also will not be tolerated even if posted by a homeowner. Classified ad style of messages are acceptable as long as you reasonably believe that your neighbors may be interested in the item for sale. Excessive posting of items for sale or other commercial content such as recruitment for multi-level marketing programs will be handled at site administrators’ sole discretion.
Privacy
Site administrators will not publish or sell private information at any time. Personal information submitted by members, including mailing addresses and email addresses, will not be used for marketing or any other commercial purpose. Use of such information will only be for activities related to our neighborhood and the association.
Your use of this site indicates that you likewise agree to not publish or sell private information to which you may have access and will not use other members’ information for commercial purposes or other purposes not related to our neighborhood or the association.
